Lowther Forestry Group offers one of the most comprehensive and competent range of forestry and landscaping services in Britain. It was established 30 years ago from operations set up by the 7th Earl of Lonsdale as part of his expansion of forestry on the Lowther Estate from the 1950s. This drew on 800 years of forestry experience on one of the largest country estates in England.

A full member of BALI, the primary body for the landscaping industry and the assurance of competent contractors, we employ 35 full-time staff and use a network of specialist subcontractors trained in all aspects of forestry, landscaping, arboricultural work and horticulture. We offer a range of competences for different specialist markets for accreditation, such as utilities.

LFG successfully attained ISO9001 on 27th May 2010 certifying that we operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of

National Highways Sector Scheme 2A - installation and repair of fences,

National Highways Sector Scheme 18 - Environment and Landscape including Ecology

Training is an essential part of our working life, much provided and supported in-house. Most of our managers and regional managers have all worked up through the company to form a long-established team with an in-depth knowledge of the areas they serve. We pride ourselves on working well with our clients.

Lowther Forestry Group Ltd Reg. No. 3309271 is a wholly owned private limited company.
